Management survey reveals key evaluation criteria

Managers responsible for the selection of information and document-management systems rate ease of implementation and simplicity of use as their most important evaluation criteria, according to a survey by industry association, AIIM Europe.
A large number of respondents from more than 300 organisations across various sectors rated the two factors well above functionality, scalability, compliance issues and supplier reputation.
AIIM also found that the planning and managing of implementations, including change management, was widely considered to be the biggest challenge faced by project champions.

The two surveys were carried out by telecoms.com on behalf of EMC UK.
