Sun and Deloitte collaborate on compliance

Sun Microsystems and Deloitte, the professional services firm, are collaborating on an initiative to help organisations develop more efficient, cost-effective and sustainable technology and business processes, to address current compliance and corporate governance challenges.
The main component of the collaboration will be the ‘Center for Technology Governance and Compliance’ (CTGC), which combines Deloitte’s consulting services with hardware, software and technology services from Sun. These will include the network-computing specialist’s information-lifecycle management and identity-management technology.
The compliance service will involve four main elements: a business, process and technology assessment of current compliance initiatives; a security methodology; an information-governance methodology; and a controls methodology (to provide insight into existing compliance operations within the organisation).
