Consumer technologies fuelling internet revolution
Analyst house Gartner has predicted that the widening use of consumer technologies within organisations is fuelling a second internet revolution.
In a recent podcast, analysts examined the trend and suggested that popular consumer technologies including desktop search and instant messaging were increasingly being bought in at a grass-roots level by staff.
According to Gartner, IT organisations have traditionally resisted the implementation of consumer technologies – a trend that goes back 25 years – but now employees are adapting such solutions for business use with or without the support of IT.
FileNet aims to automate records

This integration aims to help companies enforce records-management and compliance policies at the technology layer, while reducing user-related errors, and time and cost factors.

Viloke and Neoxen form KM partnership
