IM 2004 awards: finalists announced
The Finalists for the 2004 Information Management Awards were announced on 15 October. The Awards, which are sponsored by PeopleSoft, Temtec, EMC and Canon, and supported by the British Computer Society, attracted a record number of entries this year. The content-management and intranet categories are supported by AIIM and ei (enterprise information) magazine.
The 29 finalists in the content-management category are: AAD (Artenay Agro-Development); Amlin; ATHENS 2004 Olympic Games, British Telecommunications; Commission for Patient and Public Involvement (CPPIH); DaimlerChrysler Overseas; Engineering and Technology Board (ETB); Goldsmiths the Jewellers; Guardian Newspapers (GNL); Halton Borough Council; Her Majesty’s Customs and Excise; IDOX Information Service (part of the IDOX Group); Intertek, Foreign Trading Standards Division; Irish EU Presidency; Liverpool City Council; Lloyd’s Register; Loyalty Management UK (LMUK); Ministry of Defence; New Charter Housing Trust Group; NOOZZ.com; Northcliffe Electronic Publishing; Ogilvy; Royal Mail; Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors; Suffolk Accessible Government Partnership; The Department for Constitutional Affairs; Transport Research Laboratory; Wragge & Co; and Yorkshire Building Society.
The 18 finalists in the intranet category are: Arup; British Council; British Telecommunications; Creation Financial Services; Deutsche Bank; Ernst & Young; gedas UK/Volkswagen Group; ICAP; Liverpool City Council; Liverpool Direct; London Borough of Havering; London Borough of Southwark; Ministry of Defence; Network Appliance; Ogilvy; Rotherham MBC; The British Land Company; and Travis Perkins.
