ProClarity appoints Vangramberen
Business-intelligence vendor ProClarity has appointed Jean Vangramberen as its director of sales and marketing.
Previously, Vangramberen worked in similar capacities with NCR, AT&T and Teradata, where he was vice president of sales for Western Europe.

Kallasvuo named to EMC board
Olli-Pekka Kallasvuo has been named to information and storage-management vendor EMC’s board of directors.
Kallasvuo, Nokia’s executive vice president and general manager of mobile phones, has been part of Nokia’s management team for 15 years and is expected to strengthen the independence and expertise of EMC’s board.

Nick named senior VP at EMC
Jeffrey Nick has been appointed senior vice president and chief technology officer at enterprise-content-management vendor EMC.
He will assume a major role in the direction of EMC’s technology strategy and in the evolution and advancement of EMC’s information-lifecycle-management capabilities, related platforms, software and services. Nick previously spent 24 years at IBM, where he was named IBM Fellow, the highest technical honour the company bestows on its IT innovators.

Nicol makes VP at Outstart
E-learning solution provider Outstart has named Peter Nicol vice president of Europe, Middel East and Africa (EMEA).
Nicol will be responsible for developing and building the EMEA business as well as for driving OutStart’s expansion into new markets and to new customers throughout the region.
