Two new releases from Vignette

Content-management vendor Vignette has enhanced its content management and portal solutions as part of a strategy to deliver a unified platform for information management and delivery.

The improvements include expanded presentation management, real-time delivery of information from its native sources via real-time page generation and assembly and advanced caching. The new features allow users to quickly deploy web properties, decrease business users’ reliance on IT and facilitate dynamic web interactions across the enterprise.

Vignette has also released its records and document-management product which is designed to provide customers with a platform that delivers compliance, risk management and business automation within a single, standards-based framework.

Vignette says the combination of records management and production capabilities allows customers to automate business processes such as loan originations, customer support requests and claim adjudications for improved efficiency, while capturing records and process audits for compliance.
