IM tool targets security threats
IMLogic has released an instant messaging (IM) security solution that is designed to predict and eliminate ‘zero-day’ attacks on corporate IM networks.
The Real-Time Threat Protection System (RTTPS) is integrated with other IMLogic products and exchanges threat detection and blocking information, in real-time, to prevent IM security attacks.

Postini positioned in Leader QuadrantGartner has positioned Postini in the Leader Quadrant of its E-mail Security Boundary 1H05 Magic Quadrant, a report that evaluates vendors in both ‘ability to execute’ and ‘vision’ categories.
The report predicts that there could be only a handful of e-mail security boundary vendors by 2006, meaning e-mail security will continue to require best of breed investments.

Stock photo house boosts website search
Online stock photography house Stockbyte has selected search technology from Verity to improve the quality and performance of image research and search activities on its public website.
“The key to our success is having the right image and making the process to find it frustration-free,” said John Kennelly, CEO at Stockbyte. “The previous search software we were using didn’t offer a user-friendly interface for our customers.”

FileNet has launched the latest version of its P8 web content management suite, FileNet Web Content Manager 3.0, an object-based solution with enhancements that include complete integration with the software provider’s business process management technology.
